COACHING

Through somatic practices and shadow work, we'll support you in trusting your body's wisdom, transform your struggles into allies, and reclaim the wholeness that's been waiting beneath the surface.

Why I do this work

I had done the therapy. Read the books. Built the mindfulness practice. I could explain the anxiety, my patterns, the ways I'd learned to protect myself. But explaining wasn't the same as transforming.

When my mentor introduced me to somatics and archetypes, I learned to see my symptoms as messengers rather than problems. I discovered parts of myself I didn't know existed—not as concepts, but as actual felt experiences in my body.

I began to learn something else too: I could feel the anxiety and not collapse into it. There was a quality of awareness that could hold it all—quietly witnessing, lovingly containing. I wasn't alone in my experience. There has always been a witness, and I was remembering.

My life softened. Simplified. What I valued shifted. I started to feel whole in a way I'd never experienced before.

It was a homecoming—finding a deep sense of belonging within myself I'd never known was possible. And it's what called me to guide others through their own.

This isn't about transcending your body or your struggles. It's about being in relationship with them—and that relationship is what makes change possible.

I do this work because I know what it's like to live in a prison of our own making. When we keep coming back to tend to our wounds with devotion, we fashion the key to our own release. Liberation arrives not as one big moment but starts to reveal itself unplanned and unexpectedly. That's just the beginning.

We become the wizard, the alchemist—one foot in the world, one foot in the universe. As we open our hearts to ourselves and tend to what's been exiled, something shifts. We learn to alchemize our stuck places and out-of-balance emotions, transforming every aspect of our lives. We take up space in a generative, creative way. We step into the flow, co-creating with the universe.

The internal flame gets sparked, and it's contagious. It inspires others to reclaim their magic. This is devotion to individuation—and it ripples outward. One spark leaps to another.

We fall asleep sometimes. We will. And we remember. With each layer of awakening, each return to our inner authority, we become more fully ourselves. Life stops being something we only think about and becomes something we actually live—embodied, earthy, magical, full of wonder. This is what it means to live fully—in our power, in our purpose, shining.

What We'll Explore Together

  • Most of us have spent years in our heads—analyzing, strategizing, trying to think our way through feelings. We'll practice dropping from mind into body, learning to track sensations without immediately needing to fix or change them. And we'll cultivate the quality of awareness that can hold what arises—a gentle witnessing that lets you be with your experience without being overtaken by it. This is where your actual wisdom lives.

  • That anxious part that keeps appearing? The defense that makes you rigid or withdrawn? They're not problems to eliminate—they're protectors guarding the most precious pieces of your soul. They have their own story. They're pointing the way . These defenses won't dissolve or transform until they really know you're showing up. We'll learn to honor them, to listen to what they're protecting, to meet them with the kind of presence they've been waiting for. This is how they finally soften—not through force, but through being truly seen.

  • We all have parts we've rejected, repressed, pushed away—the ones we learned weren't acceptable or safe to show. Shadow work is the practice of turning toward these exiled aspects of yourself with curiosity instead of judgement. As we consciously retrieve and welcome them home, they stop running the show from the shadows. They become allies in your transformation.

  • Real sovereignty doesn't come from building higher walls. It comes from knowing your limits and capacity from the inside—so you can respond authentically instead of reactively. We'll develop this embodied awareness together.

  • We all carry universal patterns—the Caregiver, the Rebel, the Critic, the Lover. Sometimes we get stuck identifying with just one pattern, or completely reject others. We'll explore your relationship with these energies, working with the symbols, images, and metaphors that arise naturally in your process. This helps you access the full range of who you are.

  • This isn't the quick helicopter ride to the mountaintop. It's the slow walk up—challenging, yes, but engaging. Alive. We're tending to your personal myth, meeting the figures in your story with play and open-ended inquiry rather than a prescribed solution.

  • The patterns that once protected you might now feel like a prison. But they won't shift until they know you're really here. We'll honor these defenses, listen to their story, understand what precious parts of you they've been guarding. We'll companion what's leaving without rushing to replace it, trusting that as these protectors finally feel seen and safe, they can begin to transform. Endings become compost for what wants to grow next.

This work moves at your pace. We're not fixing—we're becoming more fully present with what's already here and discovering how it wants to evolve.

How we work

This is body-based work infused with archetypal awareness—meaning we're working with sensation, movement, and the symbolic dimension of your experience. You don't need any prior experience with somatics or archetypes. You just need to be willing to feel and explore.

Some sessions might include gentle movement practices. Others might focus on tracking sensation as we explore what's alive in your system. We might work with symbols, images, or the wisdom of the elements and seasons. Through it all, we're cultivating the capacity to witness what arises—to be fully present with your experience without being consumed by it. The work follows your energy, your rhythm, your unique unfolding.

Sometimes the work happens in the friction—when you can say "no, that's not it" or "I don't understand" rather than performing clarity you don't feel. Even the loss of rapport, the moments of disconnect, can show us what's real and alive.

I also offer a free consultation for anyone curious about exploring this work together. No pressure, just a chance to see if it resonates.

Questions you might have

  • Shadow work is learning to turn toward the repressed, rejected aspects of ourselves—the "others”. Together, we consciously explore and retrieve the traumatized and rejected parts. As we welcome them home, they become allies in our evolving transformation.

  • Soma is our embodied experience—the living body as energy body and seat of the soul. It includes our sensations, how we orient in space and time, and it's the portal connecting us to one another, to the web of life, and to Source.

Somatic coaching works with the wisdom of the body and the obsessive/thinking mind. Rather than focusing primarily on thoughts and analysis, we include bodily sensations, breath, movement, sound, images, and autonomic responses as sources of information and healing. This approach recognizes that patterns are stored in the body, and lasting transformation happens through embodied experience rather than mental understanding alone.

  • This is coaching, not licensed therapy. I work with the body and archetypes to support transformation and wholeness. If you're currently in therapy, this work can complement it beautifully.

This work is trauma-informed. We honor your capacity and your protective responses. They aren't obstacles—they're guides showing us what needs attention. We trust your system's wisdom about what's ready to emerge and when.

  • Archetypes are universal patterns of human experience that we all carry—like the Caregiver, the Rebel, or the Critic. In our work, we explore both your personal archetypal patterns and broader universal ones. Sometimes we get stuck identifying with one pattern or completely reject others. Archetypal work helps you develop a conscious relationship with these different energies within and around you, and includes working with symbols, images, or metaphors that arise naturally in your process.

  • Each session follows what your body-mind is ready to explore. Sometimes we track sensations as you speak about what's alive for you. Sometimes we work with movement, breath, or the images and symbols that arise. Sometimes we meet the parts of you that are activated—the anxious one, the defended one—and learn what they're protecting.

I'm not here with an agenda or a formula. My role is to attune to how you're showing up in each moment, to hold space for whatever's present—including and especially your protective responses. We move at the pace your system can handle.

Sessions can address something acute that's showing up right now, or support longer-term patterns and transformation. Your body's wisdom and timing guide the work.

  • Talk therapy primarily works with thoughts, patterns, and understanding through conversation. That has value—I did years of it myself. But insight alone doesn't always create lasting change.

Our thoughts reflect the state of our system. If we want to shift our thoughts, we must tend to the body first. Somatic work includes the body as a source of information and transformation. We're working with sensation, breath, movement—because your patterns live in your body, not just your mind. The car idling in the driveway, one foot on the gas and one on the brakes? That's not a thinking problem. It's an embodied pattern that needs embodied attention.

We might talk, yes. But we're also tracking what's happening in you as we talk. Where do you feel that? What shifts when you say that out loud? What wants to move?
